Great challenges exist in verifying impacts from our attempts to invest in impact-oriented assets and initiatives and most certainly do not deliver systemic impacts in the majority of cases, evident in the global research released relating to climate and social data. WIRCS exists to support single assets, funds, portfolios and national and regional level government to verify their impacts and develop capabilities in systemic and regenerative design and development and Systemic Impact Measurement Methodologies (SIMM).

About About About

The World Institute of Regenerative Certifications (WIRCS) is a global institute based in Geneva dedicated to advancing regenerative practices through rigorous certification and audit programs, cutting-edge and market-shaping research, and a thriving investor and governance community. WIRCS seeks to elevate the level of integrity in regenerative practices across all industries working primarily with assets, funds, portfolios and governance leaders ensuring the impacts we seek to achieve are effective in doing so.

Deeply grounded in a proven regenerative core process of living systems principles and systematics frameworks for regenerative development and design, all certifications, program and audit processes focus on deep capability building for all participants involved, in addition to third party verification of systemic impacts. With global systemic, structural and cyclical risks escalating, and unprecedented volatility affecting both the financial performance of assets and initiatives and necessitating a systemic approach to development to better mitigate these risks, WIRCS programs reduce downside risk and elevate upside performance and resilience of assets and inititiaves.

Marc is specialised in analysing and forecasting the impact of macroeconomic trends on a broad range of asset classes, where necessary challenging market psychology and consensus views.  The joy of working as a market economist is, and has always been the constant need to research and learn about the changing landscape of the way that the world works, going far beyond the limited scope of economics and financial markets; be that in respect of how globalization, shifting supply chains, energy transformation and technology have and are transforming nearly all aspects of communication, culture, energy and how we interact with the environment on all levels.  The desire is to enable and facilitate systemic & lateral thinking perspectives on global economic, political and asset market trends; to convey these ideas enthusiastically in terms that are accessible and thought provoking. Having spent much of his childhood in Libya and Iran, Marc has a particular interest in the Middle East, is a university guest lecturer; a very regular conference speaker and guest on TV & Radio and widely quoted in the media.
